A two-day UGC-sponsored national seminar on the theme ‘Quality enhancement in Higher Education through IQAC’ was organised at the Semiliguda College in Koraput district recently.
Executive Director of Nalco, Damanjodi Raj Kishore Mishra inaugurated the seminar in the presence of Regional Director of Higher Education, Brahmapur laxmikant Tripathy and former Regional Director Pradeep Tripathy and College founder Secretary Krushna Singh.
Former Controller of Examinations of the Utkal University Prof Malay Kumar Mohanty gave the key note address. The seminar was convened by IQAC Co-Coordinator Dr Uma Sankar Prasad Patra and presided over by College Principal Rabi Narayan Sutar.
Delegates from Ganjam, Malkangiri, Nabarangapur, Rayagada, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, larambha participated in the technical session.
The seminar culminated with a workshop and interactive session followed by preparation of a draft of recommendation to the authorities concerned to sustain quality in higher educational institutions.
