A seminar on demonetisation was held at the BJB College here on Saturday.
Prof Bhabani Shankar Nayak of York University, UK in his hour-long speech critically examined the myriad aspects of demonetisation with its consequential effects on India’s economy. All the angles of demonetisation gathered out of his investigation were put forth by him in a threadbare manner.
A lively interaction took place between the speaker, students and professors turning the occasion as a memorable one. College Principal Prof Nawaz Hassan presided over the seminar while Vice-Principal Dr Rita Pati, Economics HOD Dr Bishnupriya Mshra and Dr Brajakishore participated in the discussion.
Earlier, Prof Sailendra Narayan Tripathy introduced the guest while Dr Brajkishore offered a vote of thanks at the end.
