In yet another incident of the deteriorating law and order situation in the State capital, the body of a security guard was found in the premises of an infrastructure company under the Sahid Nagar police station on Saturday.
Sources said some staffs of the SKD infrastructure company spotted the body of Prabhat Nayak lying in the company premises in the morning. After police reached the spot, and found several injury marks on the body.
later, family members of the deceased lodged a complaint at the Khandagiri police station alleging that Prabhat was murdered. They claimed that the victim was originally an employee of the city-based ARA security agency and was engaged on duty at the company for the past few months.
