Keeping in view the demands of people and Budget commitments of the Railways, a new weekly AC superfast express train was introduced between Secunderabad and Shalimar.
The Secunderabad-Shalimar weekly AC Superfast Express will leave Secunderabad on every Tuesday from June 4 and will arrive at Shalimar the next day morning. In the return direction, the train will leave Shalimar on every Wednesday from June 5 and will arrive at Secunderabad the following day.
The trains will have stoppages at Warangal, Vijaywada, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Baleswar, Kharagpur and Santragachhi between Secunderabad and Shalimar.
