The alumni association of the Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) here submitted a memorandum for President Pranab Mukherjee, thanking him for approval to set up a second KV in the district.
Stating that the second school was a long overdue and also a long demand of the association, the members urged that the school should start functioning from the academic session of 2014-15.
V Uday Kumar and lava Pandey, president and secretary of the association respectively, along with several others were present when they submitted the memorandum to the district Collector.
