The Security Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has directed officials of the chit fund firm Green Ray International, which is under probe for its fraud in Odisha, to appear before it on November 16.
A team of SEBI officials visited Jaleswar town in Baleswar district on Tuesday to serve notices on five officials of the company. The SEBI has asked Green Ray managing director Mir Sairuddin alias Gora, Abdul Khaliq Shah, Ayub Khan and two others to present themselves at its office in Mumbai on November 16.
A senior SEBI official said the notice was issued to the officials due to their noncooperation in the investigation into the case registered against the company at the SEBI headquarters in Mumbai.
