The Paradip police on Sunday raided a number of places in the port town and interrogated staffs of the Odisha Stevedores limited ( OSl) in connection with the murder of Seaways Shipping and logistics Private limited general manager Mahendra Swain.
The cops also raided the Gopalpur guesthouse of the company in Ganjam district. But the police are still clueless of the whereabouts of the accused.
Earlier, the police on Thursday had raided the OSl office at Paradip.
Sources said a simultaneous raid was also carried out at the residence of OSl’s executive director (ED) Basant Bal.
During the raid, the police had sealed bank accounts of OSl in Bank of India. Besides, the personal accounts of Bal, senior manager Debi Prasad Tripathy and operation manager Subhas Acharya have also been frozen.
