The Supreme Court on Friday rejected the bail petition of Seashore CMD Prashant Dash’s brother Prabhat while directing the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to complete the probe relating to Prabhat by the end of May. Prabhat was the director of Seashore Securities ltd, one of the sister concerns of the Seashore Group of Companies, and was arrested by the CBI in January last year for his alleged involvement in swindling investors to the tune of `3 crore. The CBI had filed the chargesheet in the mega scam in the Special CBI Court on March 7, 20015. The chargesheet mentioned that Prashant Dash and Prabhat embezzled about `578.2 crore, collected from investors between 2006 and 2011.
