The Commissionerate police on Tuesday arrested the wife of Seashore Group CMD Prashant Dash on the charge of fraud. Police arrested Jyotrimayee Sarangi on a non-bailable warrant (NBW) issued against her by the Rourkela Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM). Sources said she was involved in a fraud case in Rourkela.
Sources said Jyotrimayee would be produced at the Rourkela SDJM Court later.
Notably, Prashant Dash was arrested by the Crime Branch police in 2013 from Mumbai on the charge of duping his chit fund investors of crores of rupees, and since then he has been languishing in jail.
