The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Court, Jeypore on Monday rejected another bail plea of Seashore CMD Prashant Das in a case lodged against him at the Jeypore police station in Koraput district.
The court rejected the bail plea after hearing the petitions filed by Das’ lawyer. The next hearing on another case would be held on October 31.
Notably, Dash was arrested from Mumbai last year on charges of duping investors to the tune of Rs 5 crore in the Semiliguda area in the district. Besides, investors had lodged another two cases against Das in Jeypore and Koraput police stations in connection with the chit fund scam.
