The Supreme Court on Friday rejected the bail petition of Hi-Tech Group chairman Tirupati Panigrahi for the seventh time. The next date of hearing has been scheduled on March 31, sources said.
Notably, Panigrahi was arrested with his directors Tirupati Choudhury and Madhusudan Panigrahi by the Crime Branch on December 25, 2012 for duping hundreds of land buyers of crores of rupees by floating dubious land and housing schemes in the city and on its outskirts.
