The State Bank of India (SBI) inaugurated its first NRI branch in the State at Ganga Nagar here on Saturday.
Chief Secretary Jugal Kishore Mohapatra inaugurated the facility in the presence of the bank’s Chief General Manager Krishna Mohan Trivedi, General Manager (NW-l) Rajiv Varma and General Manager (NW-II) PVSlN Murthy. The Chief Secretary hoped that the NRI branch would serve the longstanding need of local NRIs and people of the State. He handed over passbooks to a few new NRI customers and NRI housing loan customers. Trivedi said the branch would provide a full range of financial services to the NRIs.
