The State Bank of India on Tuesday donated Rs2 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for aid to the cyclone victims.
SBI CGM Sanjay Kumar Magoo and GM Rajiv Varma handed over the cheque to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in the presence SBI Deputy General Manager (B&O) Arun Kumar Aggarwal.
The Chief Minister applauded the effort of SBI in meeting the needs of distressed people. Magoo confirmed that the major networking infrastructure of the SBI in the State is operating normally and that almost all SBI branches including those in impacted districts are fully functional.
