The State Bank of India (SBI), Bhubaneswar Circle celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi here on Wednesday by organising a cleanliness drive.
On the occasion, a sand art on ban of single-use plastic was inaugurated by SBI Bhubaneswar Circle Chief General Manager Praveena Kala.
Later, a “Swachha Hi Seva Shramadan” was organised at Dhauli Hills here wherein SBI Bhubaneswar Circle GM (Network-I) CLN Charyulu, GM (Network-II) Bijoy Kujur, DGM and CDO ST Lama and hundreds of employees joined the movement contributing Shramadan in huge numbers.
Kala distributed cotton bags to the visiting tourists and locals at Dhauligiri, which was appreciated by villagers and tourists.
The programme was conducted by AGM (PR and CSB) Santosh Narayan Jena.
