Six sportspersons from Odisha are participating in the Rio Olympics, which is a record participation from the State.
To enlist support for the participants and to encourage more such sport persons in future, the State Bank of India (SBI) in association with the Odisha Olympics association (OOA) has come out with a promotion campaign through public participation.
For every download of the SBI Wallet ‘SBI Buddy’ from the Google play store/I-store and sending any token amount (may be Rs 1) to any other’s Buddy or making any merchant transaction between August 5 and 21 with the SBI and five digit branch code of any branch in the State as Promo Code, SBI will contribute Rs51 to the OOA, subject to a cap of Rs6,00,000.
Currently the ‘SBI Buddy’ is offering various incentives and cash back offers.
The SBI, Bhubaneswar Circle and the OOA appealed to the sports lovers of the State and the public intending to support the sports persons to participate in the campaign by downloading and operationalising the ‘SBI Buddy’ during the Olympics period.
