The State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) Officers’ Association, affiliated to the AIBOC, held an organisational meeting here. SBH Regional Assistant General Manager PK Samal and ABOA SBH unit general secretary Harsawardhan Madbhusi, PTM Gopal Krishna and Sameer Kumar, among others, spoke.
last year the SBH had opened its regional office in Bhubaneswar which is controlling branches in five States such as Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.
The SBH has decided to open 30 more branches in the region in this financial year. The total business of the SBH as a whole crossed a landmark of `2,20,500 crore, it was informed.
Harshwardhan talked about the latest development in the banking industry, wage revision and privatisation of the public sector bank. The meeting was attended by officers working at all the States under the region.
