The State Government on Monday effected a major administrative shakeup involving 22 senior IAS officers, including Collectors of 10 districts, and appointment of Vipin Kumar Saxena as the Principal Secretary of Home Department.
According to the notification issued by the General Administration Department, Saxena replaced UN Behera, who, after his recent elevation as an Additional Chief Secretary, held Home as an additional charge.
While Sangram Mishra has been appointed as the Secretary of Pension and Public Grievances, G Srinivas has been posted as the Secretary of Steel and Mines in place of Rajesh Burma, who has been shifted to the Agriculture Department as the Principal Secretary. CJ Venugopal has been posted as the new Secretary, Rural Development with additional charge as the Secretary, Public Enterprises.
Surendra Kumar has been posited as the Secretary, Science and Technology, while DN Gupta has been posted as the Commissioner, land Consolidation, Hemant Sharma as CMD, Gridco and OPTCl and Additional Secretary, GA Department. Shalini Pandit has been posted as the labour Commissioner.
Khurda Collector Rupa Mishra has been shifted as the MD of the newly-created Medical Corporation and MD of the Rural Health Mission in place of Pramod Meherda, who has been posted as the RDC (North). Manoj Ahuja has been given additional charge as Secretary, Transport.
Guha Poonam Kumar has been posted as the district Collector, Jharsuguda, B Parameswarn as the Collector, Baleswar, Bijay Ketan Upadhyay as Collector, Kalahandi, N Thirumala as Collector, Kandhamal, D Prasant K Reddy as Collector, Balangair, Shyam Sundar Nayak Collector, Deogarh.
Kendrapada Collector Niranjan Sahu has been posted as Collector, Khurda in place of Rupa Mishra. Bhupinder Singh Punia has been posted as Collector, Sundargarah, Jayakumar V as Collector, Nuapada and Rupa Roshan Sahoo as Collector, Dhenkanal.
