Ramesh Chandra Naik, Sarpanch of Birikala GP under Joda block of Keonjhar district has filed a complaint in the local beat house against senior Tata Sponge officer Sital Kumar Swain for alleged misbehaviour on Monday.
Sources said that Ramesh had gone to attend a marriage function in the local Birikala gram panchayat. After reaching there as a local public representative, he exchanged pleasantries with people present there.
Suddenly, Sital came near him and reportedly asked, “Who are youIJ You are a Bhuyan. Who has elected you SarpanchIJ” alleged Ramesh.
later, feeling humiliated for being misbehaved in public, Ramesh filed the police complaint.
When contacted, beat house in-charge Naresh Chandra Saw said he has forwarded the matter to the Joda police station, but the Barbil SDPO is the right person to take action in the case.
