The closeness between arrested Congress leader Bapi Sarkhel and Orissa Stevedores limited (OSl) managing director Mahimannanda Mishra has become further evident as the Jagatsingpur police recently found that an aeroplane belonging to the OSl was used by Sarkhel.
Notably, police have arrested Sarkhel after the main accused in the Seaways Shipping company general manager Mahendra Swain murder case,
Rakesh Chaudey, told the police that Sarkhel had introduced him to the OSl MD before an unwritten deal made between him and Mishra to arrange Supari killers to eliminate Swain.
According to information, police found some documents and photographs on Chaubey and Sarkhel and his wife Monideepa using an OSl aeroplane to go to a hospital.
