A meeting of social activists, artists, poets and writers with young dramatist Nalinikanta Gouda as the convenor was held here on Tuesday in the premises of Courtpeta Jagannath Temple.
The members formed a socio-literary forum, Saraswat Manch. The meeting unanimously nominated well-known writer Niharika Sahu as the Manch’s president, Santosh Kumar Nanda as vice-president, Nalinikanta Gouda secretary and Subhakanta Sahu joint secretary. Subas Chandra Sahu Roshan, Sushant Kar, Manoj Kumar Choudhury, and Abani Kumar Gaya were nominated to the panel of advisors of the Manch. Among others, Rajib lochan Pradhan, Man Mohan Padal, Umesh Kumar Mishra and Pragnyalipta Sabat participated in the deliberations.
