Two Odisha-Cadre IPS officers would go on Central deputation soon. A decision in this regard was taken during a meeting of the Appointments Committee of the Central Cabinet on Thursday.
The committee approved empanelment of a total of 13 IPS officers from different State Cadres for holding posts at the Centre. 1990-batch Odisha-Cadre IPS officer Sudhansu Sarangi would go on the Central deputation and work in the rank of ADG/ADGE.
Currently, Sarangi is working as the Commissionerate of Police of the Twin City of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.Another 1990-batch Odisha-Cadre IPS officer, YB Khurania, would also join Central duty soon in the rank of ADG/ADGE.
