The District Sessions Court of Puri, on Monday for the second time, postponed the hearing on the bail petition of 70-year-old Saradhamani Mahapatra in connection with assault on Minister Maheswar Mohanty till March 12 (Wednesday).
The court deferred the hearing as the police failed to submit its case diary on Monday. Earlier on March 4, the court had also put off the hearing for similar reasons. Saradhamani Mahapatra, the mother of the murdered former BJD councillor Talachhu Bhagaban Mohapatra alias Guna Singhari, was arrested on March 1 last.
