Getting no appointment from Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to share her grief about her MlA father, Sanjeeta Dhali, who claims to be the biological daughter of Jayadev MlA Arabinda Dhali, is all set to launch an indefinite hunger strike from Tuesday in front of State Assembly demanding stringent legal action against her MlA father.
Sanjeeta, who is still fighting a legal battle to prove that sitting Jayadev MlA Arabinda Dhali is her biological father, on February 3, had served a seven day ultimatum to the Chief Minister to give her time to apprise him about the injustice made to her by her MlA father and various forums. “Since the Chief Minister did not allow me to meet him, I will launch an indefinite hunger strike as per my earlier announcement from Tuesday,” said Sanjeeta.
“I have decided that during my meeting with the Chief Minister I will urge him not to give a party ticket to Mr Dhali in the ensuing General Elections and also to ensure a DNA test of him. But to no avail,” rued Sanjeeta. Earlier, Sanjeeta had alleged that since 2009 she was not able to get a date from the High Court to vacate the stay order on DNA test case on her father. She also alleged that she has not got appropriate justice either from the State administration or from the State Commission for Women and State Human Rights Commission.
