A district level science seminar was organised by the District Education Office, Kendrapada with support of the Director, Teacher Education and SCERT, Bhubaneswar, at Sudershan Government High School, Takurhata, here.
The theme was ‘Basic Science for Sustainable Development with Challenges and Prospectus’. Students from different schools of Kendrapada district participated in the seminar for their selection to the State level seminar.
Under the guidance of teacher Bhabagrahi Sahoo, Sangram Rout, a 10th class student of Jaga Mohan High School, Baradang was selected to represent the district in the State level science seminar which will be held on October 19.
Headmaster of JMHS Nirmal Kumar Parida congratulated both the student and teacher for making the school shine in district level and told that the success would definitely motivate many others. BEO Derabis Srikant Behera, Science Supervisor Nishidha Barik and Sudershan Government High School headmistress Kanakalata Rout among others were present.
