Finally, Sangram Keshari Mishra has been promoted to the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) rank.
On promotion, the 1985-batch IAS officer was posted as Director General of the Gopanadhu Academy of Administration (GAA) on Tuesday as notified by the Department of General Administration.
Mishra is fortunate among his batch mates, who were waiting for the top promotion for quite some time as in many States their counterparts have got promoted more than a year ago.
1986-batch IAS officer laxmi Narayan Gupta is now given additional charge of Public Grievance & Pension Administration in place of Mishra. Gupta, who was Skill Development and Technical Education Principal Secretary, has been posted as MSME the Principal Secretary.
1997-batch officer Sanjay Kumar Singh has been brought in as Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Skill Development and Technical Education. Singh, who was Managing Director of Idco, has been appointed as CMD of Idco.
Singh’s earlier charge of CEO of OCAC has been given to an ITS officer, RN Palai, who is serving as Special Secretary, Electronics and Information Technology (E&IT).
