Samruddha Odisha chief Jatish Mohanty said that while Bhaskar Jena of the Utkal Samaj would be the candidate for the Baleswar Sadar seat as coalition partner of the Odisha Jana Sammukya, the same party’s candidates would be fielded for the constituencies of Remuna, Basta and Badasahi. The Samruddha Odisha would give candidates in the Jaleswar and Soro seats. In the other constituencies of the district, no final decision has been taken, Mohanty said, adding that the Odisha Jana Sammukya has been formed to contest elections with a common manifesto.

Referring to the failures of the BJD Government in various fronts, Mohanty said he has a vision plan which can change the State’s political and educational scenarios and uplift of living standard of the people. Besides, there is a lot of scope to improve the agriculture and fishery sectors, he added. Bhaskar Jena, the head of the Utkal Samaj of the district, was present.
