Samruddha Odisha president Jatish Chandra Mohanty on Wednesday said his party would launch a Juba Jaga-Hak Maga campaign in the State from next month to create awareness among people about nation building and the real economic status of Odisha.
“The recent report of the Raghuram Rajan Committee has exposed the poverty and backwardness of the State. Whom should we blame for the alarming situation of the StateIJ Various welfare schemes are not being implemented properly for which political party leaders with vested interests are responsible,” said Mohanty while addressing party workers on the occasion of the foundation day of the party.
“I urge the people to vote for us in the next Assembly elections and we will change the contents of the Raghuram Rajan which stated that Odisha is the number one poor State in the country. Our primary emphasis will be on development of agriculture and allied sectors like horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries and forest. The State’s productivity level will be achieved above national level in five years time,” added Mohanty.Many party leaders along with workers participated in the foundation day celebration.
