Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s May 26 visit to Odisha, the Utkal Sammilani on Wednesday put five posers relating to the State’s interest and urged the Prime Minister to respond to them during his tour.
Whether it is right to set up a statue of Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Das in the Parliament premises is the first question put by Utkal Sammilani Mancheswar Industrial Estate president Dillip Dashsharma.
The second question is whether the President’s Rajya Sabha nominees should include at least an Odia person or not.
Similarly, Dashsharma wants the Prime Minister to make it clear whether Odisha deserves Mahanadi water, whether Biju Patnaik should get Bharat Ratna, and whether the Bay of Bengal along Odisha coast should be renamed as Kalinga Sagar.
