Kandhamal MP and BJD Parliamentary Party Chief Whip Dr Achyta Samanta has welcomed BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s direction to party MPs to submit bimonthly reports on their activities.
Dr Samanta said the Chief Minister is always trying his best for the State’s development and wants the promises he made in the party election manifesto to be fulfilled as early as possible. In this regard, he has advised his Ministers, party MPs ad MLAs and officers to take initiatives. The CM has also advised party MPs to raise issues in Parliament in the interests of Odisha and its people.
“In my opinion, all BJD MPs, MLAs and Ministers should work in this regards. I, as Parliamentary Party Chief Whip will try my best how all party MPs raise the issues relating to Odisha in the Parliament, Dr Samanta said.
