Sam Pitroda on Wednesday resigned from the post of IT Advisor to the Odisha Government in view of his recent joining as the Chairman of the All India Congress Committee’s (AICC) overseas department.
Accepting his resignation, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik thanked him for his cooperation with his Government.
BJP State vice-president Sameer Mohanty said the relation between the ruling BJD and the Congress had been established ever since Pitroda was appointed as the IT Advisor with a Cabinet Minister rank.
