Congress member Santosh Singh Saluja on Saturday moved a Motion of Privilege against Minister of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (SSEPD) Ashok Chandra Panda for submitting ‘untrue’ information in response to a question put by him on July 22, 2019.
“I have not got replies to my UD question number 2288 put on July 7, 2019. When I asked for information relating to social security block-wise, the Minister furnished date district-wise. Similarly, information relating to vacancy of posts and beneficiaries are not true,” said Saluja.
In response, Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro said he would examine the motion moved by Saluja.
