Avisually-impaired woman teacher of the Physically Handicapped School for the Blind, Bargarh is living in penury as she has not received her salary for the last one year.
Though Bandana Samal (30), an Assistant Teacher, has brought the matter to the notice of the concerned department Secretary, Minister and Chief Minister, nothing tangible has happened as yet.
Though Samal’s post was approved on July 6, 2015 by the Government but since then she has not got her salary.
“On several occasions I have brought my grievances to the notice of the appropriate authorities. Though they have assured me but it only proved to be false promises,” said Samal.
“I fervently urged the authorities to facilitate regular salary to live a normal life,” said Samal.
