Well-known singer Humane Sagar’s latest song ‘Chhendipada Rani’ has landed him in a row as a complaint has been filed by the Chhendipada Juba Mancha against him and its makers at the Chhendipada police station in Angul district.
The complaint has been lodged against the singer, music director, lyricist and music company demanding stringent action against them and a ban on the song.
According to Juba Mancha, the song is objectionable and derogatory towards the women of Chhendipada area. The Mancha wouldl hit the streets if the accused are not arrested and the song is not banned. It urged everyone not to share the song on social media platforms.
A Mancha member said, “Humane Sagar will not be allowed to perform at any cultural event in the district.”
Notably, Sagar was also recently in news for wrong reasons for his song ‘Jhia Nuhe Tu Coronavirus‘, in which a girl was compared to the deadly virus.
