The observation of the 43rd National Safety Week campaign organised by the Jindal Steel and Power limited (JSPl) Barbil unit at its pellet plant premises here concluded on Monday.
The speakers stressed on the importance of safety and all advised to follow safety precautions to prevent accidents at their workplaces. They also focused on the stress management to control various potential hazards.
The campaign was inaugurated by Barbil JSPl EVP and unit head TS Shanbhogue. Various safety competitions including safety essay writing, safety slogan, safety posters, safety suggestions, on-line safety quiz, and inter-departmental housekeeping competitions were organized on the occasion. Besides, spot safety awareness and quiz contests were held at different locations of the Pellet Plant complex. And, prizes were also distributed to the winners of the competitions.
