An awareness programme was organised in coordination with Basti Mahila Arogya Samiti at Sahadevkhunta area for safe motherhood.
National Urban Mission assistant manager Phanibhusan Pattnaik attended the programme as chief guest and stressed on lessening the MMR. He mentioned about various Government schemes and facilities for the community.
Assistant manager Gaon Kalyan Samiti Kasturi Priyambada , social activist Ubachak Mohanty ,health worker Sanjulata Behera, participating in the programme, disseminated information regarding the care for women during pregnancy and post delivery period.
