Criticising Finance Minister Prasanna Acharya and Health Minister Damodar Rout for their “irresponsible” statements during the UlB election campaign, the Kranti Orissa demanded that the Chief Minister sack the duo from his Cabinet immediately. Kranti Orissa president Gangadhar Panigrahy said the health condition of the Health Minister is perhaps not good for which reason he had criticised the State Election Commission. “The Chief Minister should arrange a nursing home for Rout’s proper treatment,” he added. Similarly, Panigrahy said the Finance Minister’s statement during the western Odisha poll campaign was unfortunate and undemocratic. The two Ministers have no right to continue in the State Cabinet as Ministers, he alleged.
