Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda was brought from the Brahmapur jail and produced in the Sorada JMFC Court on Thursday.
Even after chargesheets have been filed by the police in two cases, two new cases were lodged against Panda. Besides, Panda was also produced in the court for hearing of three GR cases registered against him. The three cases were later transferred from lower court to upper court. “The three cases have been transferred from the JMFC Court to the Bhanjanagar ADJ Court,” said Panda’s advocate Deepak Patnaik.
On the other hand, the hunger stir lunched by the Maoist leader at the Brahmapur jail pressing for a four-point charter of demands entered the 12th day on Friday. He is not taking any food, surviving only on ORS water.
Despite his hunger stir, he was taken to the Sorada court. Earlier, he was produced before the Gunupur court on Tuesday, Phulbani court on Tuesday and Sorada court on March 30.
