Actor Sabyasachi Mishra played a Good Samaritan role by bringing back an ailing migrant worker from Gujurat to Kendrapada in the ongoing Covid-19 lockdown.

If sources are to be believed 24-year-old Kunal Pradhan alias Kuna, son of Gouranga Pradhan of Kuanrapala village under Garajanga GP of Marshaghai block, had gone to Gujurat to work in a spinning mill.

Kuna and his other friends were forced to sit idle as the Gujurat Government closed down all the spinning mills to control the spread of corona virus. In the ongoing lockdown period, Kuna and his friends managed to fill their stomach by purchasing grocery items with their small savings, that was with them.

But, a couple of weeks back, Kuna  developed paralytic attack and was rushed to a local Government hospital for treatment. His friend Ramakant and three others, who were in Gujurat, also spent all their savings of Rs 33,000 on the treatment of Kuna.

But Kuna's condition was deteriorating day by day. With no money in hand, it had become a difficult task for the friends to provide treatment.

At this time, a friend of Kuna tweeted to actor Sabyasachi Mishra seeking his support for bringing the ailing Kuna back from Gujurat to Kendrapada. As a result, showing his humanitarian gesture, Sabyasachi made all the arrangements to bring the Kuna back to Kendrapada.

"I will arrange Kuna’s proper treatment post his quarantine period," said Sabyasachi. He also praised the friends of Kuna for standing by the ailing youth.
