Following the viral video and outcry concerning a headmaster’s dance with girl students in a school premises, ADEO, Sundargarh along with BEO, Hemgiri block, conducted an inquiry on Monday and the report was sent to the DEO, Sundargarh for further action.
According to sources, Dilip Naik, headmaster in Kanika High School under Hemgiri block, on December 16 had danced with school girls in a party in the school premises.
However, later, when a video of headmaster dancing with girl students went viral, locals had protested it. Later some villagers went to the school and sought an explanation from Naik.
After getting information about the act of the headmaster Naik, DEO Ranjan Giri had directed ADEO, Rajashri Patnaik and BEO Surendra Sahu to conduct an inquiry.
