Abhivyakti 2016, a rural management conclave organised by Rural Managers’ Association of XIMB-XUB RMAX took place at the Xavier Institute of Management here on Sunday.
The first session of the event was aimed at addressing how third parties can improve CSR processes.
The speakers for the event were Room to Read Country Director Sourav Banerjee, Mrida Group Co-Founder and Director Arun Nagpal, Jubiliant life Sciences limited Associate Vice President, CSR, Vivek Prakash, Indian Oil Corporation limited Chief Manager (CSR and Sustainability Areas) Bibhuti Pradhan and Techno Serve India Deputy Director Suryamani Roul.
The second session of the event was received with equal enthusiasm from the students and faculty and guest speakers present. The topic of discussion was Rural market: Tapping opportunities at the bottom of the pyramid. The speakers for the session were Chief Marketing Officer / Business Head - Organised Retail /Country Head - Olive Oil Neelima Burra, ACC limited CSR Head Pratyush Kumar Panda, Mrida Group Co-Founder and Director Arun Nagpal and FIDR President and Chairman Charudatta Panigrahi.
An interactive question and answer session with the audience followed. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the coordinator of RMAX.
