RSS leader resents delay in Ram Temple verdict

Rastriya Swyamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarakaryabaha Bhaiyaji Joshi here on Monday expressed his utter displeasure over the delay in hearing of court verdict relating to construction of Shriram Temple at Ayodhya.

“Construction of the temple is not important for the court. It has been proved from the unwarranted dillydallying of the verdict process while people of the country in general and Hindus in particular want that the apex court hear its verdict as early as possible so that they could go ahead with construction works,” Bhaiyaji said this at a Makar Sankaranti Utsav held on Monday evening.

He said the apex court should feel the pulse of the people on the crucial matter on construction of the temple involving religious sentiments of crores of Indians.

Bhaiyaji further expressed his concern for unequal development in the society. The country has made a lot of progress in sectors like health, education, communication, food production and defence. Still,  some people are living under poverty line since the outcome is not equally distributed.  “There are still people who are unable to arrange a square of meal for them,” he lamented.

Chief guest  Prof Shankar Prasad Pati narrated the importance of Makar Sankranti in the agrarian society. He said the RSS can play a big role for development of farming and farmers.
