The Rastriya Swamsevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated the Vijaya Dashami at Jeypore. A Sadhvavna Sabha was organised where members of different puja commitees and religious groups participated.
A parade was organised with the traditional ghosh music starting from the Jeypore stadium moving different streets to the main road and then back to the stadium.
Thousands gathered to welcome the members of the RSS cadre in different streets. The entire city was decorated with saffron colours and flowers.
The programme concluded with a meeting where former District Judge Sachita Nanda Sahu graced the occasion as chief guest. He talked about the value of RSS and its importance in the nation. Harish Chandra Parida grace the occasion as a chief speaker and spoke in details the role of RSS cadre in the country starting from independence till date. Among others, district RSS chief Durga Prasad Patro was present.
