It is the responsibility of the Government and society to make qualitative education available to youths according to their aptitude and ability so that they can participate in scientific, technological, economic and social development of the nation.
At a Press conference, organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (RSS) here on Saturday, speakers pressed for accessible, affordable and qualitative education for all. However, they lamented that inadequate allocation of fund and commercialization of educational institutions are some of the main reason behind unavailability of qualitative education these days.
The RSS demanded that both the Central and State Governments and local bodies allocate adequate resources, curb the rising commercialization in education sector, build infrastructure in all educational institutions, especially in rural, tribal and under-developed areas and appoint requisite trained and duty-bound teachers.
RSS State president Samir Mohanty called upon to Swayamsevaks and society at large to extend their support for the noble cause. He also pressed for effective and affordable healthcare service and said both the Central and state governments should bring requisite improvements in the infrastructure, policies and procedures along with the allocation of adequate resources. Besides, industrialists should extend support to the hospitals run by various social, religious and community organizations, he added.
