The Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has provided four Bolero vans to the State Police for use during the Nabakalebar Rath Yatra. RSP CEO GS Prasad handed over keys of the vehicles to Puri SP Ashish Singh in the presence of many senior officers of the Puri police and the RSP.
The Boleros are equipped with Anti-riot Public Address systems, foldable stretchers and first-aid boxes and kits that would help police during exigencies. The total cost of the vehicles is around Rs26 lakh.
