The State Government has made a special Budgetary allocation of Rs 5 crore for repair of Jagannath temples across the State excepting the Puri Shree Mandir ahead of the Nabakalebar, law Minister Arun Sahoo informed the Assembly on Tuesday. In a response to a query of MlA Ramesh Chandra Chau Patnaik, the Minister told the House that the amount will be spent for temple repair, festival, construction of new chariots and repair of old chariots purposes. The Minister further informed the House that budgetary provision will be made in next year if his department will receive proposals seeking financial assistance for temple repair and festivals.
