BHUBANESWAR: A total of District Mineral Funds (DMF) of Rs 4,000 was collected from the State’s all 30 districts by January-end this year.
It was revealed at a State-level DMF monitoring meeting held under chairmanship of Chief Secretary AP Padhi at the State Secretariat here on Tuesday.
Reviewing progress of projects undertaken with DMF funds, the Chief Secretary directed officers to expedite works with proper implementation of funds.
Development Commissioner R Balkrishnan stressed that projects be made with maintaining of coordination between funds allocated in the State Budget and DMF funds.
It was decided to widen the DMF website and make it more transactional. The GIS Maps of DMF projects would be put in the website. To provide technical supports, an Integrated Project Management Unit would be formed.
