The Delhi police conducted a raid at the corporate office of the Hi-Tech Group of Institutions at in Saheed Nagar here on Friday in connection with a fraud case against the group’s owner.
Sources said a two-member team of the Delhi Connaught Place police station raided the Hi-Tech Group office on the basis of the allegation of a fraud of Rs 25 lakh against the group’s managing director Tirupathi Choudhury.
The Delhi cops assisted by their Saheed Nagar counterparts reportedly seized some allegedly incriminating documents during the raid.
Sources said that a case was registered against Choudhury in this regard under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC at the Connaught Place police station.
