Chief General Manager of SBI Vidya Krishnan visited the RBO, Jajpur Road and inaugurated a new branch at Jindal Campus.
A mega SHG Mela also was organised on the occasion at Jajpur Road. In the mela, 163 new SHG loans amounting to Rs 3.30 crore and 165 renewal proposals amounting to Rs 1.80 crore were disbursed to group members.
Collector Chakravati Singh Rathore was present on the occasion and emphasised on more number of such melas to make the rural women self-reliant. Besides CGM Krishnan, GM-I Abhaya Kishore Pandey, DGM (B&O) Kundan Jyoti and other SBI officials were present in the Mela. Similarly, the SBI Bhubaneswar Circle, also donated a 3.75 KW solar panel lighting system to Natutal Institute for Social Welfare (NISW).
NGO NISW runs a Child Care Home for orphaned children and a Swadhar Greh for distressed women at Kusunpur, Jajpur Road.
