In yet another such instance, an alert Railway
Protection Force (RPF) staffer saved the life of a woman at Platform
No. 3 of the Bhubaneswar railway station on Tuesday. The incident
has been captured on the CCTV camera installed at the railway
station.
According to reports, the woman passenger lost her balance while she
was trying to board the Puri-Sealdah Duronto Express. She fell down
in the gap between the platform and the moving train.
Head Constable S Munda, who was on the duty at the time, came to
the rescue and pulled the woman to safety.
Munda’s promptness and bravery avoided a certain mishap and loss
of life. His act has been praised by all.
However, many people are boarding and de-boarding moving despite
the risks involved.
