An employee of the Rourkela Steel Plant died on Friday-Saturday midnight after being collapsed in the control room of the Calcined Plant in CPP2. He was identified as Biswanath Mundari (43).
While police have registered an unnatural death case, the RSP authorities have offered a job to his wife.
Sources said Biswanath was on duty in C Shift when he collapsed around 3.40 am.
He was first rushed to the Vocational Health Centre inside the plant premises and then shifted to the Ispat General Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Mundari might have collapsed due to high blood pressure, RSP sources said.
